Budget 2025 Ireland Social Welfare Plan. Budget 2025 was announced today, unveiling the largest social welfare package in the history of the state, providing €2.6 billion to assist households grappling with ongoing economic challenges.

Social protection minister heather humphreys is pushing for three welfare payments to be increased more than other payments to encourage parents to stay at home. Coalition leaders have agreed a €2.7bn social protection package for budget 2025, described as the largest in the history of the state.
